About

Ben Waite is a stand-up comedian based in Greater Boston. On March 31st, 2026, he took the stage at The Comedy Studio in Harvard Square and delivered a debut set that, by most accounts, occurred.

By day, Ben runs his family’s construction company, a career that has given him an eye for structure, an appreciation for load-bearing walls, and enough material for approximately two jokes—otherwise known as a tight 3 minute set. He is known for dropping the comedy hammer with the quiet precision of a man who has genuinely used a hammer and is not using it as a metaphor.

Ben lives with his girlfriend, their two dogs, and a handicap index he describes as “aspirational.” His comedy is dry, calm, and unhurried—much like his back nine. Critics describe his style as “a man who is unbothered” and “someone who has clearly thought about this more than he is letting on.”

He has been called “the man who flunked out of mammogram school,” which is a description that he doesn’t shy away from. He is available for bookings, corporate events, weddings, bar mitzvahs, and any venue that can accommodate his large following of close family members.
